The Automobile

of the motoring organisations. The Royal
Automobile Club (RAC) has moderated its views in recent years
and sounds measured in comparison. A competitor insurance firm the
Environmental Transport
Association (ETA) prides itself on not lobbying for new road-building,
and organises sustainable transport events.
